We’d like to inform our users of a new display issue encountered when using LINQ on Internet Explorer version 11 (IE11) with Windows 10.
A recent software update for IE11 has broken its support for Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) which LINQ uses to display our diagrams in the browser. SVG is a core part of HTML5 and enables LINQ to display crisp and clear graphics at any scale on screen and when printed. LINQ users using IE11 may encounter edge arrows disappearing in diagrams. This is only a cosmetic issue and does not impact any of the capability within LINQ such as value cascading or cost aggregation.
Microsoft stopped supporting Internet Explorer in January this year due to the release of the Edge browser with Windows 10 and will not be fixing bugs such as this one. The Microsoft Edge browser does not yet adequately support SVG, so our immediate advice if you encounter this issue and find its impact is detrimental to your experience of LINQ, is to use an alternative browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
